On a deserted Vänershofs IP A, without any audience in the stands, Mariestads BK and Tibro AIK FK met in an exciting meeting in Division 5 Västergötland Norra. The match started at 19:00 on June 29th and Simon Sand Johansson had blown the match as head referee together with his assistants Albin Andersson and Yamen Rahmoun.

After 31 minutes in the match, Mariestads BK took the lead after a well-placed ball by Alexander Magnusson that deceived Tibro AIK FK's goalkeeper and found its way into the goal. Mariestads BK had created several chances earlier in the match but it was only now that they managed to put a ball in the goal.

Shortly after the goal, Melker Landenmark received a warning after causing a free kick. Tibro AIK FK played aggressively and their hard tackles led to a caution for Joel Sjölander after 43 minutes.

After the half-time break Tibro AIK FK came out stronger and Sargon Gewargis managed to equalize the match in the 58th minute. Mariestads BK lost a bit of their game and Tibro AIK FK could take the lead shortly afterwards when Daniel Betyo played the ball in a delicious way into the goal after 62 minutes. Mariestads BK continued to fight but never managed to put any real pressure on Tibro AIK FK's defense during the rest of the match.

The match ended with two cautions, one for Ninos Gewargis in Tibro AIK FK and one for Jesper Källgård Blomqvist in Mariestads BK. The final score was 1-2 to Tibro AIK FK who managed to turn the match around after a strong second half.
